Unity, Gnome 3, Gnome 2, KDE 4?

It so happens that I tried out the two new and controversial (hehe) desktops recently: Unity on Ubuntu 11.04, Gnome 3 on Fedora 15. Well, a lot of things are said about these two desktops, and as far as I could see most is true from one point of view or the other. So I won't add much.
